Bromic 3 Phase Instant electric hot water heaters supply water to several pick-ups, such as the kitchen and bathroom. The units range from 18kW to 27kW with a temperature range between 30° to 60°C, delivering instant hot water to suit your home’s needs. The units are equipped with electronic control and a clear LCD display, and temperature lock allows for the maximum temperature to be set, while the built-in memory function, which stores the 3most frequently used temperatures, allows for easy temperature selection.

The small, compact size of these hot water heaters allows for easy installation near the water outlet (higher water efficiency). This means you avoid the eye-sore of a large hot water tank taking up space.

As the water is only heated when the hot water tap is turned on, electric water heaters offer a more energy efficient way to heat water. This ensures low electricity consumption and reduces heat losses. During a 5 min shower, you would expect to use around 1kW.

No flue is required with these units.

Installation and Maintenance

• Installation must be performed by a qualified technician in compliance with AS/NZS 3500.4 Plumbing and drainage: Heated water service and Clause G12 of the NZ Building Code as well as all other current national and local regulations.
• The heater should always be vented before initial start-up. Venting needs to be completed whenever air has been introduced to the appliance or piping.
• The appliance should be mounted in a way that it can be easily accessed.
• Do not connect the heater to the electric mains until the heater is vented and all water connections are tight and full.
• Heater must be connected to main/potable water supply only.
• The specific electrical resistance of the water must not fall below what was specified on product data label (and Section 3 of the manual). The electrical water resistance and conductivity information can be obtain from local water supply utility company.
• This appliance is not to be used as a potable/drinking water supply.
• This appliance is only suitable for indoor installation.
• Ensure the circuit breaker and the isolation switch are suitably sized for the appliance.
