GIB® Soundseal is a water based acoustic sealant. Highly flexible for use in GIB® Noise Control Systems. Reduces sound transmission in partition and frame wall systems.

Technical and Environmental Benefits

Ultra Low VOC content, ie Less than 1 gram per litre, meets Green Standards NZ. This sealant is suitable for use in the BRANZ appraised GIB Board® systems.

Application and Purpose

Installation and Maintenance

Apply a generous bead of sealant to seal perimeter of sound rated partitions. Installation instructions must be followed as described in the GIB® Site Guide or relevant GIB® System literature.
