Composition® is a durable and flexible acoustic wallcovering that is typically applied in vertical drops like wallpaper. It is easily maintained and retains its rich, solid colour and soft, velvety finish over time.
The range includes exhibition wall fabric Vertiface, also available with acoustic backing under the name Composition, our world-leading reverberation control solution.
The extensive range of colours and finishes allows designers to create attractive, comfortable environments that look and feel unique. Composition is available in a range of contemporary colour options and a choice of velour or rib finish. Because of their non-woven, non-fray construction, Autex wall coverings allow designers to create feature designs such as cut-in logos, text, borders and inlays, which can be custom-cut on request. Composition is also available as easy-to-use self-adhesive tiles, offering the opportunity to mix colours and create modular check, stripe and border designs.
Contributes towards points in multiple Green Building Rating Schemes, including but not limited to Green Star NZ, Homestar, Living Building Challenge - Refer to the "GREEN BUILDING INFO" tab at the top of this page for more information.
Low VOC - Low emission testing on all Autex thermally bonded polyester products.
Recyclable - Composition is made from a minimum of 50% already recycled polyester fibre content and can also be recycled at the end of their life.
Acoustic Performance - Autex Composition is an acoustic wall covering designed to manage and reduce reverberated noise in building interiors. Composition has been independently tested for acoustic (NRC) performance at Auckland University. Acoustic performance results are detailed in the Composition Datasheet.
Non-Irritant, and Non-Allergenic - Composition is manufactured using the latest needle-punch and thermal bonding technology. That means they're free from chemical binders and toxic glues, making them safer for users as well as more eco-friendly. The polyester fibre is non-toxic, non-irritating and resistant to the dust mites and bacteria that trigger asthma and other allergies.
