Wilsonart aims to maximise post-consumer recycled content in the manufacture of their products.

A select range distributed in New Zealand has a product Specific EPD and GreenGuard Gold low VOC certification (with most having a DECLARE label).

Wilsonart is a global company with manufacturing bases around the world.   Established in the US in 1956 by founder Ralph Wilson, the company has grown in its 65 years to become a leading supplier of high pressure laminates and other decorative surfaces.

In late 2021 New Zealand Panels Group acquired the New Zealand distribution for Wilsonart HPL.

Installation and Maintenance

These laminates must be bonded to a reliable quality substrate for use as a benchtop by a professional fabricator and installed by a joinery professional.  For day-to-day cleaning, simply wipe with a clean damp cloth. Spillages should be tackled early with warm water and detergent or a standard Spray and Wipe solution. Splashes from cooking fats and oils should be cleaned up with warm water and detergent before they cool and set.
