This natural linoleum floor covering is made through the combination of the following materials: linseed oil, pine rosin (a form of resin tapped from the pine tree), wood flour, limestone and natural mineral pigments. Over 150 colours are available in the Marmoleum collection for multiple purposes.
The following ranges are available:
• General purpose Linoleum - The general purpose linoleum range consists of four collections: Marmoleum Global 3, Marmoleum Colourful Greys, Marmoleum Dutch Design and Touch.
• Marmoleum Modular - Marmoleum Modular is a tile only range and is available in 50x50cm & 25x100cm standard tiles with special order sizes 25x25cm, 50x25cm, 15x100cm and 75x50cm. For optimal stability, the backing is made from polyester rather than jute. Available in multiple colours, patterns and styles.
• Decorative flooring - Linoleum which is produced with aquajet cutting technology enables reproduction of the most intricate and creative designs.
• Marmoleum Ohmex - Linoleum that meets higher requirements for electrical conductivity. Electrical resistance is improved to < 1-10 8 Ω (EN1081), ensuring personal safety and protecting equipment that is sensitive to static electricity. Marmoleum Ohmex, which is 2.5 mm thick, is available in four colours.
• Acoustic Linoleum - Marmoleum Acoustic and Marmoleum Decibel provide a linoleum floor that achieves lower Db values due to a special insulating layer that is connected to the linoleum sheet. In this way impact sound reduction up to 17 Db can be achieved.
• Cork Linoleum - Corkment is a warm, natural floor underlay used with Marmoluem sheet, ideal for areas where comfort, impact-sound-reducing and shock-absorbing properties are required
• Bulletin Board - A linoleum surfacing material ideal for use on notice and pin boards, which has a multitude of applications providing a functional finish to walls, furniture, door panels and cupboards.
• Furniture Linoleum - A linoleum surfacing material, which provides a functional finish to walls, furniture, door panels and cupboards.
Forbo linoleum has the following benefits:
It is safe for asthma and allergy suffers.
The manufacturing process maintains controlled/low VOC emissions.
It is easier to clean with a dust mop and damp mopping.
The anti-static properties of marmoleum reduce the potential for electric shock, create a dust free environment and make the floor easier to clean as dust and dirt will not as easily adhere to it.
