All GIB plasterboards can be ordered in many standard sizes, allowing builders to order the most efficient lengths. All GIB plasterboard lining must be protected from internal and external moisture. It must not be used where likely to be exposed to liquid water or where extended exposure to humidity above 90% RH is expected. Cracks or damages must be repaired immediately. For GIB fire rated systems and fire rated sealants these must be regularly inspected.
