The newest addition to Schiavello's workplace solutions is Centric, a unit that embodies flexibility and innovation. Designed and manufactured in Australia, this innovative desk system allows the user to vary desk heights independently along a single plane.

Unique to Centric is the degree of user adjustability, providing fixed-height, technician or full electronic adjustability that facilitates both sit and stand options (720mm to 1050mm).

Prefered environmental performance is obtained when selecting the GECA or ECNZ certified Laminex board tops, all of which are mounted on a powder coated aluminium and nylon frame.

When desks are placed back to back, a connecting rail completes the unique H-leg frame, removing the need for supporting feet. The result is less clutter beneath the desk and greater usable storage space, further enhanced by Centric's cable reticulation system.

This rectilinear unit can be reconfigured to accommodate placement in  90° or 120° clusters of varying lengths and widths.

Technical and Environmental Benefits

To ensure environmental performance, all products are developed according to the committed Research and Development program and the use of Life Cycle Analysis software guided by 'Design for the Environment' principles which ensures product design and development to achieve reduction in the environmental impact associated with the production and use of the products.  Centric builds on the success of the QED workstation and overall the group estimates to have reduced its impact by over 20%.

Specification of GECA or Environmental Choice NZ certified Laminex board provides an assurance of better environmental performance and lower formaldehyde emissions. (refer to Laminex page for further details)
