Product Description

Mammoth, manufactured by InsulPro, is a range of polyester thermal and acoustic insulation products including wall, ceiling and under floor applications. The current products focus on the Thermal insulation only.

Mammoth ceiling insulation
100% Polyester ceiling and skillion insulation for large ceiling cavities and confined cavities, where the ceiling lining is fitted to the bottom of the roof rafter. Mammoth skillion sections are semi-rigid, making them perfectly suited to be friction fitted between the rafters in confined ceiling cavities where the roof and ceiling run in close parallel.

Mammoth Wall insulation
100% polyester, Mammoth wall insulation is made in New Zealand in sections or blanket for thermal insulation. Airlay sections are designed to be friction fitted into the wall cavity as one piece, creating a smooth, seamless fit without tucks, creases or gaps.  This helps provide higher thermal performance across the system.  Wall blanket is designed to fit into the wall cavity to provide thermal insulation.  Masonry Wall insulation is also available in sections or blanket and is designed to be installed against masonry walls as thermal insulation. Wall insulation has a range of R-values: R1.0 & R1.3 (Masonry) and R1.9, R2.0, R2.2, R2.5, R2.6 & R2.8.

Mammoth Underfloor insulation
Mammoth Underfloor insulation is made in New Zealand from 100% lofted, thermally bonded polyester fibres. Mammoth Multi and NOVAfloor underfloor airlay sections are designed to provide thermal insulation for the underfloor by friction fitting between floor joists, hard up against the floorboards and do not require mechanical fixings or staples to hold it in place.

Application and Purpose

Mammoth thermal insulation is suitable for residential or commercial application.
Mammoth R1.4 NOVAfloor is designed for use on homes with exposed underfloors - prone to high winds and extreme weather conditions.
Mammoth R1.9 Multi underfloor sections are designed for homes with semi-enclosed underfloors in areas less likely to experience high winds and cool conditions.

Installation and Maintenance

Mammoth thermal and acoustic insulation is designed to be used in residential or commercial environments.  No maintenance is required for the insulation, as the product has a 50 year warranty, providing the insulation is installed correctly and adequately protected.
