Fairview Thermal Linear 40 is a thermally broken double glazed aluminium window with ‘Thermal break’ technology. This ensures the aluminium is more robust to changes in temperature. Thermal windows are able to withstand the harshest weather conditions, but flexible enough to hold larger-sized glass panels. The combination of flush surfaces, square shapes and timber liners gives the TL40 suite a clean modern aesthetic. Best when a modern, flat aesthetic is required and/or where a standard liner finish is required, TL 40 is designed for residential environments where improved thermal performance is important.
TL40 blends seamlessly with the Fairview Architectural ranges for maximum design advantages and comes in a complete product range consisting of fixed and hinged options, including awning, casement, bi-fold and sliding windows, and stacking doors.
Glazing options - Glazing capability of 18mm to 30mm (min-max).
Application - High quality residential applications where improved thermal performance is important. Suitable for mid to high end homes.
Hardware - Alba, Stella and Verta hardware options available.
Thermally improved windows provide the better energy efficiency and when combined with high performance glass solutions, the benefits are even greater. Depending on the size of the unit, Fairview Thermal Linear 40 products achieve optimum R-value results and WEERS stars (Window Energy Efficiency Rating System).

Care for aluminium joinery by using a mild soap, warm water and a quality soft-bristled brush or cloth. Dishwashing liquid is always handy and works well. Simply wash the entire frame with soapy water. Use clean water to rinse, and dry to avoid streaking.
Wash glass at the same time as the frames. Use warm water and soap. You can also use a specialised glass cleaner. Use a cloth, soft bristled brush or sponge. Then rinse with clean water. Remember to dry your glass with a clean cloth, paper towel or grit-free squeegee to finish. It isn’t clean until it’s dry.
Wash your hardware every month with a mild cleaner, like dishwashing liquid mixed with warm water. Adjust and lubricate your hardware as directed by supplier. Clean your hinges and window stays at the same time as your aluminium joinery, with a mild cleaner.
