Product Description

GreenStuf® insulation is proudly made for Kiwis by Kiwis, manufactured right here in New Zealand. Safe to touch, with no nasty chemicals or airborne fibres, GreenStuf® is a thermal and acoustic insulation made from 100% polyester fibre. Made with with a minimum of 50% recycled content and made on a zero waste manufacturing line, every element—from packaging to product—is recyclable at the end of its life.

Sound Solutions® Classic
Acoustic insulation available in 90 mm pads and blanket
GreenStuf® Sound Solution is designed for the acoustic insulation of timber-framed buildings. It reduces airborne sound, impact noise and noise transmission by controlling resonating noise inside the construction cavity. Sound Solution is ideal for internal walls and mid-floor cavities, and comes as insulation segments and rolls pre-cut to fit standard timber framing.

GreenStuf® Acoustic Absorption Blanket (AAB)
Exposed acoustic absorber suited for use with acoustic panels and ceiling systems
GreenStuf® Acoustic Absorption Blanket (AAB) is engineered to maximise sound absorption for the control of reverberated noise in building interiors. GreenStuf AAB is ideal for managing noise in theatres, studios, auditoriums, halls, offices, retail and indoor swimming pool complexes. GreenStuf AAB can also be used in marine applications, as acoustic baffles, acoustic infill for silencers and louvres, and insulation for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).

Acoustic insulation blanket that reduces sound transmission through ceiling cavities
Sound Solution® Baffleblock™ is an acoustic insulation blanket designed to be layer stacked above partition walls to reduce sound from moving through ceiling cavities.

Application and Purpose

ASB
ASB is designed for the acoustic insulation of metal stud wall partitions and as an acoustic ceiling overlay in commercial buildings. Autex Sound Blanket is supplied in rolls pre-cut to fit standard metal stud partition walls.

BaffleBlock®
BaffleBlock® is a simple, effective sound control system for new and existing commercial buildings. It is designed to be stacked above partition walls to significantly reduce sound transmission through the ceiling cavity.

AAB

AAB is designed for maximum control of reverberated noise in building interiors. It is ideal for use as an absorber behind acoustic panels and ceiling systems. Autex Acoustic Blanket is ideally suited for managing noise in theatres, studios, auditoriums, offices, retail areas and indoor swimming pool complexes. 

Installation and Maintenance

Autex recommends all thermal and acoustic insulation materials be installed in accordance with the manufactures instructions and NZS4246 Installing Insulation in Residential Buildings. Autex GreenStuf® products are completely safe and user-friendly and therefore no protective clothing or precautions are required to handle or install these materials. For further information please refer to the particular product Installation Instructions.
